Any Turkey Hunters here ? What kind of rig are you using ? I started hunting Eastern birds about 7 years ago. After 4 guns, a dozen chokes and hundreds of rounds of ammo this is what I hunt with. Remy Emag 21 inch Super full. Just put on the new thumbhole Rem stock a couple of years ago when it first came out. Anything that gets inside 50 yrds loses his hooks ! SurprisedImage Enlarger

In CT, where my son lives, you could drive that Trailblazer down the street and use it to get a wild one for dinner. They're all over the place.  I don't think it would cause too much damage.

I come form a turkey huntin family Wink.. my weapon of choice for the last decade or so has been the Mossy 835 3.5" 12 ga with my  own custom camo job and scope.  (I'll have to post pics).  Same deal, lots of chokes and ammo, but it slaps em down.

These are old pics, but they will have to do Laugh... I've done a few of these camo jobs for hunting buddies.  It is a 3 or 4 color with leaf pattern depending on your area.

Case is actually for 6 ice fishing poles, but it is perfect for my turkey setup.  I also have a short ported barrel for this gun.

I know if I log on to the internet with my paid subscription of MSN Premium  the post is messed up. But if I go on internet with the the big blue E (IE) it looks OK. Broken Computer. I am running IE 8 as a Browser, Not sure why the different ISP would make a difference. One way to see what your missing is to right click the words, scroll down and highlight encoding, scoll down and click right to left document. This will shift screen so you can read what is missing.

OK, I must admit I am a PA resident who likes turkey hunting but I do not have the time in the Spring for shotgun season for the gobblers.  My choice is my Remington model 7 in .223 caliber in the fall season.  I also plan to try this year with my Contender in .223.  It shoots every bit as well as the rifle.
