This had to be one of the toughest shots I`ve ever taken because I was was aiming where the neck meets the body. Had a Leupold 2.5-8X scope turned up to 8X. Shot was close to 40yds. Those Freedom Arms handguns are so dammed accurate......

[Image Can Not Be Found] You can the the bullet entry hole at the base of the neck. Like I said before- Those Freedom Arms revolvers are accurate....

That was an incredible shot. Turkeys don't like to stand still very long. I was wondering where this thread was going. Most of the time you wouldn't shoot a turkey with a .454. It would have vaporized. I've shot a couple of turkeys like that. The first shot was perfect like yours. The second turkey, well 1/2 a turkey is better than no turkey. Its always a great feeling to kill game with a pistol when everyone else is using a long gun. Freedom Arms does make a great wheel gun. Congrats! range-time
