Thanks guys, it's a kick to drive. It has a heck of a bottom end.

My first car was a 1969 Camaro, sold it not long after getting married so I could repair other things. Always said that I would have another one but it would be a convertible, only took over 20 years before I could get one.

I still have my first car I bought as a junior in high school 1981, glad I held onto it!  Glad you got another one back, does it make you feel young again when you drive it?  Mine does wink

Is that a 70 1/2 ?

Yes it does make me feel younger especially when burning rubber

Glad you were able to hang onto to all these years

Mine is a 1973.  The 70-73 model years all had same/similar body options (RS, Z28,SS, LT), but there were a few minor body variations over those years like rear deck lid spoiler height, interior changes like bucket height, center console, gauges, etc, and small changes to the engines like solid lifters versus hydraulic, etc.

Mine started out as a plain Jane, so I got a little carried away.

I was always a Mustang guy. 1969 convertible 3514V, 1970 Mach 1 351 Cleveland, 1985 GT 302, 1993 GT With that said I love the look of the newer Camaro's. I'm planing on buying a late model Camaro used convertible with the V8 Corvette engine. It's coming soon!

The 2025 Corvette is gonna be a beast, seen videos of it easily exceeding 200 mph!  $150-$200K depending on options.

Yea the Corvette is a bit out of my price range. A Camaro convertible with the V8 should do. A good used one 2019 goes for about 30K with low miles! If I had the cash maybe a ZL1 Camaro convertible would do nice or the 2023 Corvette Z just over $120,000Screenshot-2024-08-22-4.48.08-AM.pngImage Enlarger
