I took my wife and youngest daughter to lunch today for a late Valentines present. While we were out, they suggested we stop at a couple thrift stores. I wasn't thrilled, but said sure. While looking at a bunch of old plates and dishes, I saw a dark rectangular wooden box. I thought it was a knife box, it had something in it. I opened it and found this.
Not a bad find for $3.99.
I also grabbed an old jewlery box for 3.95. It has lots of little felt lined compartments, perfect for sight blades, internal parts, springs, screws and barrel nuts etc.
I may have to make a point of looking in these shops more often.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
