I've found that most guys into guns, also share a passion for cars. Post up some pics of your favorite vehicles.  I did the Hot Rod Power Tour in my 1963 Chevy II Nova SS ... 4,422 miles in one week.

My future build... I parked this in my grandmother's barn in 83 when I joined the service.  I thought it was gone since she sold and moved to WY 20+ years ago.  Turns out, a second cousin bought it and looked me up on Fb last Spring to ask if I wanted to come get my '65 Galaxie 500XL.  I plan a trip to NE this spring to rescue it. Unfortunately over the last 30+ years, people have helped themselves to a lot of the chrome, grill, tail lights, etc...  It ran when I parked it.  Now to try to find the dollars for a restomod... already have the new top.

American Austin Bantam Roadster Convertible.

I've got just two questions for you.

Are you sure it's not a late model 1930 ?

What did I win ?

Pete1, would love to see more pics of that '73 Torino when you get it together or even as it is now. In the late 80's I had Mercury's version of the Torino Sport, a '73 Mercury Montego GT fastback. Had a factory 351 Cleveland CJ, C6 trans and 350 traction-loc rear.

Gearhead addition from PA:

1970 Chevelle SS.  Originally a 396 car, I have owned it for 30-years, this year.  It was a straight car with no real numbers matching value when I bought it as an 18 years old HS graduate, that is the best kind of car, you can't devalue it anymore that way.  It now is badged as an SS454 and possesses a 496 Stroker, in front of an M20 with a freshly rebuilt GM 12-Bolt with 355 Gears.  This car is a fun cruiser geared just right to actually drive it.

SMF, I have heard a lot about the Chevelle so it is cool to finally see pics of it!

The best I can do is show a few pics of what were my favorite cars I owned in the '80s but both are long gone now-

'68 Mercury Cyclone GT, 390, Toploader 4spd and 3.25 Traction Loc rear-

Here it is shortly after I bought it-

After I spent $2000 on a paint job (in 1985)

Flipped it end over end the next year-

Here was my '73 Merc Montego Gt, 351 Cobra Jet, C6 trans & 3.50 Trac-loc rear

What a shame that after that beautiful restoration, the Cyclone was destroyed.  I hope no one was hurt.

Zoommb, no I walked away from it. I still to this day have not forgiven myself for ruining that Merc.
