Okay. Here are mine, although...Now THAT is probably the most diverse collection of toys yet on the forum! Too cool!
Sooo, the Vette...is it still naturally aspirated?
Nope. We switched it over to an LT1 and installed a Vortech V-3 T-Trim supercharger on it. We put the throttle body in front of the supercharger instead of having it up on the intake manifold where it would normally be. We also installed a Holley HP computer. That allowed us to finally tune in the engine and see what she'd really do.
It's my daily driver, and I recently drove 9 hours from Huntsville, AL to my home in Central FL. Did fine. Once I got home, I found out that I need to rebuild the steering rack, as it's got a leak. That's the problem with toys, ya gotta fix em!

That sounds like an interesting set-up. Is the throttle body placement part of the Vortech system, or was that your brilliant idea? What were you trying to achieve by moving it?
There are quite a few members here in Central Florida .. would you be interested in getting together with us for a Florida shoot?

That is our own design. We used an 80mm BBK throttle body for an LS Camaro (cable-driven) and fabbed up an elbow and tubing that runs the throttle body and air filter assembly across the front of the car and into the driver's side bumper opening. I've spoken with folks who agree with the idea and folks who say that it's not a good design. The tuner suggested that centrifugal superchargers don't like restriction (I already knew that) and that it could actually contribute to heat build-up more than the throttle body being in the original position (intake). That is the first I heard of the heat possibility.
When I spoke with Greg Carroll (Carroll Supercharging) about it, he agreed that having the throttle body in front of the supercharger was better. Our original intent was to eliminate the pressure build-up when the rpm is high and the throttle blades were closed. The Vortech kit has a blow-off valve, but we've seen sticky throttle blades due to this condition. That pressure has to go somewhere, and the blow off valve only operates after it has pressure that it needs to blow off. This eliminates that issue, and now, vacuum is the biggest hurdle. Originally, we had the Vortech rubber elbow on the down-pipe for the supercharger. When you closed the throttle, it sucked it FLAT! Not an issue on the original design. We fabbed up a metal tubing elbow and all is good.
I made a mount for the throttle body and throttle cable to go onto the elbow.
It works okay. Tuner said that if I had installed meth injection and/or an intercooler, I could probably see another 70 hp out of the deal. Not sure that I'm ready to invest the time and cash to see those 70 ponies right now. LOL!

Went to start last year and was out of gas, never got back to it.
Put 5 gal. in today and pulled choke, hit starter button,3rd compression stroke,it fired
tried again and was running. 1924 Ford T. need to have rad. cleaned out and have a higher
compression head to put on it, big silver piece on head is a compression whistle= LOUD !!
's a 26 running gear w/2 speed rear axle [Ruxtle ?] not sure of spelling. but has a 3 to 1 high gear,
stock was about 4 to 1. Pop had it going 62 mph once !

Now THAT is cool, Pete. I recently rode with a friend of mine from Portland OR to Wendover UT for Speed Week at Bonneville in his '28 Model T. It has a Burns twin-carb intake and a Chicago Model-E overdrive trans. We typically did 60-62 mph regularly with this setup. A GREAT time! Once in a lifetime for sure!
Here's his car (not mine, although I wish it was!)

He doesn't race, only street driver. It is a 26, not a 28 as I had typed. New computer and they moved the keys around a little. Been doing a lot of that lately but missed that one. Numbers always get me, and who can find a percentage sign when ya need one!
He brought the car over to the east coast a few years ago for the Race of Gentlemen out on the beach. Wished I could have been there. When we pulled the car onto the salt, they swamped the car like flies. It's old-timey, with all the pedals and such. His screen name is MrModelT on many forums. A quick search will show up a bunch of photos and links. Cool guy.
Yes, that was Bonneville, in 2012. First and only trip to the salt. Lifetime experience for sure!

Awesome, it has all the goodies from the era. Frontinac OHV head was only thing better at the time.
I could tell it was a "T" by the back of oil pan area underneath. kinda hard though wo/closer pic. I assume
that car would go over 60mph !! A stock "T:" is lucky to break 50mph
Anyhow, Thanks for sharing all your

That Model T looks pretty cool! I can only imagine what an experience that must have been to take it on a road trip to Bonneville.
You have no idea, way back in this thread I said how my father drove his T everywhere
I grew up in the back seat, knew how and did drive it at 12 yrs old
Nice day here in the Buckeye State, got to ride my Shovelhead today, 93ci. 100hp
Got some better pics too, painted myself 15 yrs. ago. When I met my I had parts all over the house.

Sounds a little like me, only I did mine after the wife split, in a spare bedroom. It was nice to work on the bike during the winter & actually be warm. As it's coming apart...
New engine ahead of the old one...
Getting ready to go back together...
It's now June 2013...(I never said I was fast) I did a lot of subtle custom changes, that ate up a bunch of time.
Done by August!
I rolled it onto the front porch to start it up. I had left the door open & 20 seconds after it started, the exhaust set off all the smoke alarms! Woops.

V-Max, right? I rode with a guy that had one w/nox sys. He had it off and of course I didn't blow past, but kept up. He said my HD runs pretty good!! This was before OH #2 was already 93 ci, but. I had about 50 K and a rod bearing went. So .010" over .020 off heads, roller rockers, BIG #6 Andrews cam. Well anyhow made me feel good for a V Max to be complimenting me. Shortly after he had nox on missed gear and scattered it and got a HD it's a 77 Super Glide, though does not look like one
JD 29 pics are way back in this thread, but I'll put more on tomorrow

Yep, it's a 1990 1200cc V-max that I named Aquamax. In 2012, my son bought this 2010 1900cc Raider, which lit a fire under me to fix the Aquamax. We found a nice long open road one day & drag raced each other...I've gotta say, that Raider gave me a good run, the Aquamax didn't leave it in the dust nearly as quick as it does with most other bikes. LOL
