This 27-foot Baja Boss 272 has cured my DWAS for the summer because she drinks 5+ gallons per hour of $6-per-gallon non ethanol fuel at just 2500 rpm.  No $$ left for Dans!   31F1FB37-39E7-4237-B115-228713F42B5A.jpegImage Enlarger

Buying other things does not cure DWAS, it only removes the ability.

I hear that nothing cures DWAS except the inability to purchase due to lack of funds!

I have no idea how I missed the 2022 posts in this thread, but I sure did! screwy KurtB, 605Dart...those toys look great, thanks for posting! This year we have a boat thread, that Kurt & other members have posted cool-pics of boats in HERE!

I see I need to find the time to go way back into this thread & re-post pics of my various vehicles. But for now, here are a couple shots of a '77 C3 Vette that I found in 9/2020. It came with a 350 GM crate engine & TH400, with average HP. Before I got it, the previous owner had a 383 stoker in it, and a shift kit in the trans...so currently, it will bark the rear tires pretty good on the 1/2 & 2/3 shift. He & his wife were on their way through southern Utah to attend a car show, when the 383 chucked a rod on the highway. He had a dealer in Vegas install the crate engine, then that fall a life-ending illness took him away. Four years later, the family decided it was time to let his toys go. He was owner #2 for most of it's life, I feel a bit honored to be able to be a good steward to this Corvette for the time being.smile The first year was spent taking care of funky issues due to the car being 47 years old, and being owned by the same guy for about 43 of those years. The amount of random wires that led to nowhere (from years of "neat" gadgets installed, then aged out) that I pulled out of this thing was shocking.

For one reason or another, I don't have any decent cool-pics of this car yet...I should work on that!embarassed

A quick, funny story; a few weeks ago, I was sitting in traffic waiting for a green light, when a couple young guys (maybe 19 ~20) came along in the turn lane next to me in a beater Tundra, the passenger leaned out the window & yelled "dude, your whip is tight"! I was like..."thanks, man"! What was I supposed to say?? Then I giggled to myself the rest of the way home, thinking "I guess it's great to have a tight whip"! rofl
