Actually, it's about our 39th Wedding Anniversary, so in my case it's Very Lucky Day.
I have a photo from that day, maybe a little later tonite I'll scan and post it.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well no, it wasn't, but two comments on the Bachelor Party:
SOMEONE brought along some movie entertainment (and in 1976 they were actually movies). Dad showed up, looked at the movies for a few minutes, and left.
And, of course, we played poker for a while. It only took about five hands to discover that we were playing poker with a pinochle deck, way too many big time winning hands.
Did I forget to mention the quarter barrel of beer iced down in the bathtub?
