Just to stay on topic in this Forum:

I just ate, I'm having a cold beverage or two, which will make me Merry

In my case "Lawn Care" is a double dose of BS all in one package!

The yard is mostly covered in primarily green vegetation, sprinkled with lots of very pretty, tiny flowers (white, yellow, purple). "Primarily"does allow for some bare spots! The green stuff (the aforementioned "lawn") is a custom variety of plant life that ranges from a very low ground cover (moss) to a very vivid green, broad bladed crab grass that grows in clumps about a foot in diameter and 8-10" high, interspersed by a dwarf bamboo/wheat variety informally known as "I don't know WTF THAT is. So much for the "Lawn"

"Care" is much easier to define: the Weed Whacker does a MUCH better Job than the lawnmower. Basically, Weed Whack all the tall standing stuff, then scalp everything down tight with the mower.

It's a very trendy and eclectic landscaping strategy!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

My last three homes I landscaped it so there was no grass in the back yard...about to do the same, again. Right now fighting an armadillo who is digging up things. Put stuff down to kill his food, grubs...just waiting for that to work. I put down cayenne pepper mixed with sand in the front beds..we'll see if that has any effect. In the back I have one of these

which seems to be working...brought it out of storage for him. I can't dispatch him...not rural enough here.

If you're going to drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Bows are whisper quiet for those suburban situations. A family of woodchucks bore witness to that back in Grand Rapids a few decades ago. big-grin
