I've had a few bikes, honda, yamaha, triumph, harley and kawasaki. the kawasaki was an early 70's 750 triple 2 stoke that scared the poop out of me. I would rather shoot a .500 mag all day. That was around the time I first met a DW. A friend had a .41 mag and got very upset when I asked him if he meant Smith and Wesson. I was only a puppy back than but I remember shooting it and finally 25 years later I got my 1st DW. I have had my 15-2 for some years now but never got the .41. Some day I'll that .41 and the Road King.

I have never owned a motorcycle, haven't ridden in years and years, but I remember a few terrifying seconds on a Mach 3 Triple. It was WAY beyond anything I was ready for, started out fine, and once I felt comfortable, I got stupid.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Motorcycles are my premier hobby, shooting comes second. I've been riding since 1991, mostly sportbikes and motocross and currently I own two Suzuki GSXR's. One is a 1998 750 and the second a '05 1000 cc. I had to sell my dirtbike because I didn't have the time to ride it. Like someone else said, too many hobbies…
I'm a riding instructor for a swedish version of the california superbike school so I do a bit of track riding every now and then. It's nice to really get it on without oncoming traffic
But sometimes I have to play a bit too
Here is a nice bit of road not far from where I live
Don't be shocked about the speedo. It reads in kph where 160 kmh=100 mph and 255 kph = 160 mph

Cool pics & good looking Zukis. Being a riding instructor would be a pretty fun & rewarding experience, I imagine.
Yes, it's great to see people moving their riding techniques forward so much in just one day and everybody is happy and eager to learn

I bought a mach 3 when I got out of the service in 69. I sold it six months later before it killed me. I went thropugh the chopper thing and by 74 had settled in to large fat motorcylces.
I don't ride as much as I did but I still manage to keep the oil warm.

OK, where in NW PA? I grew up in Harborcreek and the wife is from Erie. Riding season in that area is short

I'm in the Bradford area, about 90 miles s/e of Erie, and you are right about the riding season being short........ not too much riding at all this year with all the rain we've had.
