Thought I would share my "other hobby" and money sink hole. No, not a horse, although I've had them in the past and hope to get one again some day.
I raise and show German shepherd dogs. Hence, my screen name TrakaGSD. Traka is my kennel name, GSD-German shepherd dog.
Here are pics of my 2 up-and-comers. The first one is a goofy mug shot of my 18-month old male, AKC champion pointed, UKC Champion SkyLynes Locked and Loaded v TRJ, call name "Ammo".
The 2nd picture is my now 7 month female, Rochill's Kimber v. Traka, call name"Kimber". She is posing by her sign on one of our visits to Scheel's. She thought it was totally awesome they named a gun after her, lol.
So, on days when I'm not plinking around on the gun range or going to gun shows or NRA conventions, I can be found at some dog show somewhere.

They look great. I had to put down my German Police in Sept. 2013. He would've been 13 if he had made it to Feb.
Farley... I still miss him too. I'll have to dig out some pics and show ya one day. 115 lbs pour love and joy unless you messed with his family. Then he was just a god awful mess you didn't want to be on the wrong side of...lol

Traka- That is a Kimber I'd love to own

And that is exactly why I love my GSDs! Not to mention a couple of speeding tickets I got out of due to an over protective dog in my car.

That's a beautiful pair you have there. Congratulations. I've always had GSD's, and always will. Here's our latest....not a pedigree or a show dog, but a rescue that we fell in love with. She's been one of the best.
