You can't say Super Bowl, it's a federally registered trademark of the "non-profit" trade association; the NFL. We have to say "the big game"....

I can honestly say that I have not watched an entire pro football game since about 1980. I love football...college football.

I could not tell you the last time I watched an NFL game in it's entirety, but lately my wife has started watching some College games with me. She gets pretty vocal during some of these games, once she gets cranked up, the dog hides on her bed under a blanket.
We will watch the Super Bowl (ooops, I did it again
) together, I'll be online or reading a book most of the time.
Haven't been to a Super Bowl (sorry, one more fee I owe the NFL) party in years. When we did go, I realized that I didn't know many of the people there. Of the people I knew, I actually liked very few of them. I'm NOT a Party Guy, I guess.

My 18 yo daughter thought until a few years ago that 'Super Bowl' Sunday was a national discount bowling day, since we always went bowling that day because they offered discounts to get people to come out. Always had the NFL game on the overhead screens, but I rarely watched.
IMO pro sports have degenerated into a bunch of thugs playing a kids game for outrageous salaries. Sorry sports fans, but that's my honest answer.
