Nothing better on a Monday afternoon ( when ya is retired ) then to set back in your easy chair having a corndog and watching Baseball, especially when your team is winning ( Seattle Mariners ) .... I remember as kid how important Baseball was in my life as I am sure it was in every young boys life ... Sometimes we didn't even have a bat so we would use a branch that was close ,it didn't make a big deal to us we still dreamed that we were there at the World Series ... How simple life was then

Shoot, I still got 2 boys at home, both of them are baseballers.. Middle school team, High School team, then rec leagues and fall ball for all-stars. I'm bought to old to be doin all this runnin. Actually, I'm to old to be doin all this hoblin' I still got a foot with a brace on it. Heck, I can't even take a vacation less I go by myself..lol 6 days a week whilst the school ball is goin' on...

Great game this afternoon/evening,Tigers -vs-Indians. Obviously I was happy the Tigers won, but it was a long game, lots of great plays/hitting on both sides with some very dramatic lead changes.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Okay, now I'm not taking anything away from baseball, I just don't know how you can sit and watch a whole game! I would end up, bored, distracted by something shiny, nodding off or passed out from too many 
if I tried to sit and watch an ENTIRE baseball game!
Personally, I'm a little more fired up about the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs with Hockey Town's Red Wings in the hunt again!
Now this is what I'm talkin' about!

No, it was drive by watching, taking the dog out, washing laundry, making dinner, etc. Just keeping up with the game and catching dramatic moments. During the dog walk I had my ESPN app running...
