Chuck used a 44-40 Winchester model 1892, w/modified trigger and lever.

Read HERE and learn all the cool stuff about the gun and show occasion

Was that the show were the Producers put .50-70 Government cartridges in his gunbelt loops because they looked more impressive ?

I know this show was mentioned already, I was up pretty early and cruising the channels, AMC is running hours and hours of The Rifleman right now. Late 50's to early 60's, a few observations:

1) What rifle did The Rifleman use?

2) I think his rifle is a Bump Action?

Hmmmmm.....sudden interest in lever action rifles. How odd.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

COPS was/is entertaining, I don't watch it so much anymore for two reasons

1) I watched it incessantly when it was new and in first re-runs

2) It's nothing at all like how police are/need to be now.

COPS is the original bodycam, with editing. Being a Police Officer nowadays has got to suck

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well, this could be considered getting a little off topic, except you guys (well most of you surprised) have mentioned a TV show that accompanies your picture.

One of you got a lot of 'splainin' to do

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

If it's me....well, Wonder Woman is the 70's TV Show that got me hooked on Lynda Carter.  My little sister liked comic heroes and I liked...well....Lynda Carter.
