We recently changed our cable/internet provider, and as part of the deal we got access to a pretty extensive library of older movies. I'm really looking forward to viewing some "oldies but goodies", many of the new movies just seem ???
Last night was "The Searchers", incredible cinematography and, uh, The Duke!
This afternoon was M*A*S*H, a great movie that became an even greater TV series. I still remember rushing home from work to watch "Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen", the final episode.
What "oldies" do you watch?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

"Angel and the bad man" and "Hondo". Sunday was like a do nothin day. Rain and my in-laws are here til Sunday comin. They're from Chi-town, don't like guns but he does like TCM and my old VHS...
Steve CT, was there ever another TV series made like MASH? Though, I had to see a lot of reruns.

Whenever we watch old episodes of M*A*S*H, my wife always gets grumpy when I repeat the dialogue word for word. And since I have the entire TV series on DVD, it's pretty easy to watch them even without the "On Demand" on cable.

I maybe should have not started this topic, because there are so many great suggestions here, no way can I keep up.
There are a very few shows on "current" TV that I really need to watch:
1) Blue Bloods
2) American Pickers
3) Dancing With The Stars
I know, very strange choices, all three very entertaining in their own (to me) way'
Especially #3
