I have discovered (sometimes painfully) that I need to be more supportive of my wife's interests.
For example, she has a new must watch television show on CMT. When she watches it (she has it on DVR), rather than selfishly leave the room and watch something on another TV that I'd REALLY like to watch, I suck it up and join her in watching "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders-Making the Team".
I think I am really evolving into becoming a better husband. In spite of my feelings about the shameless exploitation of these brilliant future movers and shakers, it's just Give, Give, Give with me. Somehow I continue to bear up under the strain.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve,
My hat is off to you for making this ultimate sacrifice, what an honor to your wife for spending this quality time with her while letting the DWF hang out there without you during this time of shared viewing of your less than favorite show. You are a truly devoted.
