We had a busy day. First was morning church service, then we came home and had birthday cake! for #1 grandson, man I'm getting some age on me!

A little visiting, then back to church for the start of revival services which will run through Thursday Night.

Came home again and found the Superbowl still in the 3rd quarter, cool!  At halftime went to the kitchen and whipped some unhealthy but quick & yummy food. We called it, Sloppy Mexican Dogs.

And... I guess Cam found out he wasn't Superman after all! I wish he had handled it better, he'll probably be around to have another try again.

Oh man! The Superbowl was LAST Sunday???  Stink. That's what I get for not watching much TV...  Actually we watched the first half and then went to bed.  I, unlike most Americans (evidently), didn't think Beyoncé "stole" the half-time show.  I thought it was a pathetic show w/ the exception of Bruno Mars.  I'm sorry if my going to bed offends you but hey- it wasn't a college game....

I'm with Ron. Not a college game, not much interest for me. Haven't watched pro(stitute) football in years. Actually spent the weekend catching up on about 10 tons of paperwork.

Breakfast at the Conservation Club and then six plus hours of trap with family and friends. Temps were in the low 40s with partly cloudy skies and I'll tell ya; I'd take that every Sunday in Feb., if Michiana would offer it.

I have not watched an entire Super Bowl in many, many years. My wife must see the halftime show, and she likes to see the commercials.

I searched my On Demand movie choices and managed to choose between these three favorite movie choices:

Spaceballs

Blazing Saddles

Airplane

And the Winner was???

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I don't watch football, don't really care who wins.  I will watch some college ball but I refuse to watch supposedly grown men play a game and get paid more than many corporate CEO's to do so.

I did some work around the property then the wife and I went out for a nice dinner, date night.

I worked Sunday night to fill in for a guy who wanted off. ($$$ padding the gun fund). I do not watch any pro sports, actually I rarely watch any tv at all.

I enjoyed going to high school sporting events when the kids were in school but now they are all graduated.

Steve,

You have two of my favorites in your list.  Spaceballs and Airplane.  I am going to go with Spaceballs!

I did spend the evening with family, because of being invited.  We did watch the game sort of.  I spent more time talking with those I have not seen for a while and some time on the smart phone looking at Gunbroker.  Watching over paid, spoiled, tantrum throwing "athletes" is not my game either.

I DID NOT watch the Super Bowl. I spent the day with my wife and the new computer she bought me.

This is almost all of my SuperBowl watching experience. When we did go to Superbowl parties, it was never about the game, it was about the people we were with.

And just WHY were you on GunBroker? Getting ready to do something? drooloccasionworship

Actually, I was selling big-grin.  Just keeping tabs on it and preparing for the new "used" Weatherby rifle headed my way.  Just bought a Mark V in 7MM Weatherby I have been bartering on for some time.  I almost forgot to mention the "Favorite movie"  It ranks above the two mentioned.  The Outlaw Josey Wales.  Who would have guessed???

I spent the day replacing two bathroom faucets - something I have put off for more than a year.  That gave me good husband points.  😉  Riding the wave, I went online looking for a new CZ 527 to add to the safe.  🙂

I haven't watched the Super bowl in years, mostly because I'm not into football...so it figures that I find a girlfriend who is.lol2 So we watched it together. I kinda ruined it for her though, by complaining on how drastically the "side show" has changed...with political tones & gay pride colors, and other BS. To me, the halftime show was really lame. Then that damned monkey baby commercial came on & we were both sitting there going WTF was that!!wow Some of the other commercials were stupid, but that one was genuinely repulsive! I bet I grumbled for twenty minutes after I saw that.

Anyway, the game itself was good for the most part, and her team won, so it was an okay day.smile

The sort of thing that makes you want to powerwash your Mind's Eye with Clorox
