2006 Big Dog K-9 - the K-9's a beauty.
Sweet, looks like an Arlen Ness creation.
Thx. It's a BDM (Big Dog Motorcycles) K-9. 117 S&S motor and it's got a lot of low-end torque to it. Here's the neat part.......it's a 2006 model year, and I found it 2 years ago (2021) sitting in a guy's office up in Ohio. It had 47 miles (documented) on it. I was never ridden and was basically an office ornament. I searched high and low across the country for the best one I could find, and this was it. I haven't ridden it much myself either so now it's got 250 miles on it. It's a real fun machine to ride, but certainly not a "Cadillac" type of ride. It takes a little work compared to a H-D Dyna.

Just saw this section of the forum. I am into older bikes, shovels are my favorite. I've had a handful and rebuilt quite a few for friends getting them back on the road. Anyone with questions about shovels ask away, I can send you to the right answers for sure if I don't know myself.
Right now in the garage and what I ride is a 1980 FXS Lowrider that has been upgraded to about bullet proof and what I call a 1969 resto mod. made to look like a 50's or early 60's cop bike.
Lowrider getting new paint right now, have everything mocked up, aligned, beat into shape, etc and ready to disassemble, coat the tanks and then take to painter hopefully next weekend.

The painter did a good job - hand painted the striping and the logo, no decals used.
No kidding? That is some really great work on the striping & logo. That bike looks much better black.
Now about those mirrors...can you see anything behind you as you sit idling at a stoplight? Enquiring minds...
