It has really been a special pleasure to have found the Dan Wesson Forum and gotten to know all of the members over my previous 999 posts.
I tried to think of something special for the big 1K post, but words just dont' seem adequate...and knowing that y'all prefer DW pictures anyway...

Nickel pac...great score there! Love that nickel finish. Congrats on 1000 posts, always a pleasure to read and learn from them. The pics are a nice choice for number 1000.

I bought it just as you see it (sans a little spit polish...). SteveCT just had a model 15 plated though and it is an immaculate piece of work. He has the gunsmith listed in his post:
Nickel .44 mag sounds pretty good to me...

WOW! If I had realised the prize for hitting 1000 post was a nickle pack I would have run up my post count.

Now there's some worthy things to have in common: the DWF, 1000 posts and a nickel 15...nice...
It was a good price, but it needed a SERIOUS external cleaning up. Three barrels look like they've never been shot though and all the nickel cleaned up just fine. Still got some work to do and will have some fun with a photo layout when I'm done.
Larry - you're right, not a bad 1K prize...
