Any thoughts on the value of a 15-2 with 2.5 and 6 in. in good shape, Monson,  w. Pachmayrs, barrel kit and 2 wood grips. It's up for sale at 2nd amendment gun store in so ca. for 550. Does that sound a bit high? They sell it and take 20%. Thanks,

Frank

Good price and a good cause.

If Pachmayr's possibly refers to a Pachmayr Gripper(s) it's a must have!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I guess it pays to reread my own post. I'm actually selling the 15-v on consignment at the 2nd amendment gun store in so ca., and the 550 price was what they grabbed out of the air to ask for the gun. The gun kit is the little box that contains the barrel tool and gage. The grips that are on the gun are Pachmayr's, and they are really great, and that's what I keep on with the 2.5 barrel to shoot with . I most always use 38's, but with mag's the recoil is very manageable and even fun.

I don't have the wood box it originally came in, and just 2 barrels, 2.5, and 6in. Also, please understand that I'm not trying to sell it on this site as I just want to know what a fair price would be. After looking at Bud's guns and seeing a new Charter Arms 2 in. barrel revolver for almost 600, and not even in the same league as Dan Wesson, maybe 550 is too cheap?

Also, if you all don't mind me asking another gun value, they are also selling my 1985 S&W 586 8in. 357 with less than 200 rounds through it, and in unbelievable pristine condition asking 650. Their saying that the bluing on it is much better than Smiths newer models. Thanks,

Frank
