My brother has been looking for a 15-2 for some time now and he came across an add for a 15-2 with and 18 inch barrel for 350. We have tried repeatedly trying g to get a hold of they guy but he won't answer or return any calls. Did Dan Wesson ever make a barrel this long? The longest I have ever seen or heard of was 12 inches.

DW did produce 15" not an 18". I say if it is any barrel length and in decent shape... $350 is

The 15" was a factory offering. I know a guy who claims he had (3) 17" specially made. They would be Norwich. I'm trying to lay eyes on the one he has left. Check eBay, even 10" are going through the roof!

With DW, almost anything is possible.

Trust me if I could get the guy to answer his phone I would buy both guns he has listed. Here is the add where he mentioned the 18 inch barrel.

For what it is worth, that is an 8 inch barrel assembly on the revolver pictured.

It appears that Willy is correct. Only 4 vent slots, not 9.
Probably just a typo on the seller's part.

That is what I said when I first looked at the ad. But there is still the possibility of him having more than one barrel assembly considering he has two Dan's listed. I am going to hound him a bit more see if he will answer.

A rifle barrel like that would be awesome to me. Especially, at a price like that.. He obviously didn't know what he had.
Maybe that's why he wont answer, someone informed him..
