Good Evening DWFers!
It's hard to believe that another year has rolled by as it's time for the DWF Calendar contest!
Here are the ground rules:
1) All photos entered into the contest must be posted to this topic.
2) Each member can submit up to 5 photos.
3) Do not submit photos that featured in either the 2010 or 2011 calendar.
4) Deadline for photo submissions is September 30th.
5) Photos must feature Dan Wesson Revolvers and/or accessories.
Edited: I'm going to add one or two more rules / request.
6) List cailber and place of manufacture.
7) List any modifications made to the gun if any.
I'm very excited to see the photos that will be submitted this year!
Edited: You may submit photos of 1911 and if we have enough interest I'll also do a 1911 calendar.
Now for the legal stuff: By submitting your photo in the 2011 DWF Calendar Contest you are giving the Dan Wesson Forum the rights to use the calendar both on its website and in print without compensation.

SHOOT is special!
I have amended the rules above (nice thing about owning the site!) to allow 1911 photos. If we get enough submission to put together a nice 1911 calendar will do a limited run of those along with the revolver calendar. You can submit 5 revolver and 5 1911 photos for the contest.

I'm All In on a 1911 Calendar, and I think we have enough 1911's here to cover the entire year. Most all of my revolvers have been submitted in a variety of pictures for previous calendars, maybe I'll pass on the main calendar this year (or maybe get a new gun)?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Off subject, but in the past I've been known to buy a "new" DW just because it was coming up on password change day for my computer at work (DW744VH6*)

Gotta love that reasoning!
I'll try to get some fresh (better) pics of my 1911 for submission. Until then, here's a sig pic that I recently used.
Model; PMA-B (Pointman Aussie Blued) .45ACP
And one for the revolver calendar… Model 40 V8S (.357 Maxie)
