Good Afternoon Guys,
My time to process the calendar will be cut a little short this year because my wife and I are expecting a new baby boy in early October. So to make sure calendar gets done I'm starting the process a month early this year.
Here are the ground rules:
1) All photos entered into the contest must be posted to this topic.
2) Each member can submit up to 5 photos.
3) Do not submit photos that featured were featured in a previous calendar.
4) Deadline for photo submissions is August 31.
5) Photos must feature Dan Wesson Revolvers and/or accessories.
6) List cailber and place of manufacture.
7) List any modifications made to the gun if any.
I'm very excited to see the photos that will be submitted this year!
Also last year we had several members that ended up with multiple photos in the calendar. Since the photos chosen for the calendar is based upon voting by the DWF membership I don't see an issue but if anyone does please let me know.
Post Revolver entries here…
Post 1911 entries here…
Now for the legal stuff: By submitting your photo in the 2013 DWF Calendar Contest you are giving the Dan Wesson Forum the rights to use the calendar both on its website and in print without compensation.

I've got some pics to post if I could ever get the forum to let me do it. I don't know why I'm having the problems, I guess it doesn't like me.

Guys, I know Jody's preference is to host on DWF, and I understand why. I have hosted some photo's here, but the bulk of mine are on Photobucket.
I really think it would be OK to post your Calendar entries from a stable outside Host for purposes of voting, and email the file to Jody if you have one that will be placed in the Calendar.
The issue with outside hosting is in case the host site goes down or ceases operation, your photo links would no longer be available anywhere they were posted.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The new upgrade has had some collateral damage. While I do like the up grade some of us are having issues with photos. You can still load photos the old way using photobucket and the tree icon if the direct method is not working for you. Keep plugging away as we all love pics.

There has not yet been any voting.
This has been shared in the Site Supporters Forum, Jody has been pretty busy lately. They recently celebrated an addition to their Family with the birth of their son.
There were some complications, which were anticipated and dealt with successfully, but they have their hands full with a newborn as well as their daughter.
I am confident that the voting will begin soon, and that the calendar(s) will be available.
My guess is that the "Polls" will not be open for a not real long period of time, so keep watching for the opportunity to vote.
Vote Early, but since this isn't Chicago, there won't be an opportunity to Vote Often.
