Welcome to the forum from PA.
I do not have any experience about your question, but I do believe there has been a forum member or 2 that have had a Dan Wesson in .22LR converted to .22 mag. If it was me I would contact the Dan Wesson factory about having them do it. Their contact info is under FAQ's 'where can I order parts?' on the right side of this screen.

Yes you can.
A competent (emphasize competent) gunsmith should be able to do this for you. It has been done before, and I have gone on a couple of .22 Mag cylinder auctions to try to do this for myself.
The bullet is still a .22, and you are doing the conversion on a frame and cylinder that will easily handle .357 Mag forever
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I had considered doing this in the past and had contacted DW because I haven't been able to find a "competent" gunsmith yet. Because of the risk involved in re-chambering all 6 chambers in the cylinder correctly, they won't rechamber a .22lr cylinder. They will, however, fit a new cylinder in .22M to the gun, which in my opinion is a much better option. I was lucky enough to come across a new 722M cylinder and extractor ready to fit up to a 722. As soon as I have time this one will become one of my favorites!!
