I may have a line on a 22Mag. GB search shows no listings in completed auctions and I have no idea what a fare offer might be. I haven't seen pics, don't know what the barrel is, heck- I don't even know if its a 722M or 22M- only that a fella has one he may want to part with.
Soo... lets hear what the eggspurts have to say about availability, numbers produced, collect-ability etc..
Anything I learn is more than what I currently know.

Not many of them around that I know of. I landed one awhile back for $500.00 it was a 722M with 6" VH BA. It shoots fairly well and the finish was nice, not NIB quality, but not full of marks either.

I believe that I paid $550 for mine about a year ago. it was dirty and had a V6 BA. It has been cleaned up and now wears a VH8 BA. It's deadly accurate and goes to the range with us every time. When we get tired from the Big Bang guns, we switch to the 22MS and have a ball.
I agree with SMF that they seem to be fairly rare.

Looking back in my database I don't see any that have sold on GunBroker this year (unless I missed it). I agree with the others on price... things seem to be selling a little low right now but it's anyone's guess what one would do on GB.
I think the 722M/22M are pretty rare. To put it in perspective there have been 4 7414's sold on GunBroker this year and I know of one other private sell and no 22M/722M.
If you can get it for a good deal I would pick it up... if you decide not to I'm sure some folks around here would like the chance.

I appreciate the feedback- at least I can assume $500-$550 would be fair. I'll use that as average and go + or - depending on condition, that is to say if everything works out. Its one of those instances where a guy I know, knows another guy, who said he was 'thinking' about selling some of his guns.
One of them is a DW22 mag- so I won't put all my eggs in one basket.
