ok would ya'll think a 715 357 with a 6 inch barrel and a 4 inch barrel ,looks like a ewk barrel tool , hogue grips and also has original grips ,a bianchi leather holster, and sights have been replaced with blackhawk adjustable sights and the original sights are included would be worth 500.00

I will give you my non-expert opinion, if that 715 functions alright and looks in decent shape- YES I think it is a very good buy with all that. If I found one in my area at that price with 2 barrels and everything I'd jump on it right away.
Like I said provided it is in shooting condition with no major issue. I'm sure other guys will weigh in with guidance here also. And of course we will need pics when you get it!

There was a period in the early-mid '80's where the Stainless numbering seemed to lead with "S", followed by another letter that looked to be caliber specific. As with all things in the DW Serial Number world, things changed after a time, probably driven by an ownership change.
Buy the gun, it's a good deal. Be aware that there were all metal DW factory barrel wrenches that can look a bit like the EWK wrench, getting the extra rear sight is a real plus.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
