Okay here is the story on this gun...
My Dad was a LT for WVC PD and was also the firearms instructor for the department and was also taking some smithing/engraving classes.
One day he was walking out to his cruiser one day and sees a box with a revolver that was taken a part in the dumpster. So after fishing the box and talking to the cheif about the gun the cheif stated that if he wanted it he could buy it for $50 dollars! So when my dad got home he was able to put it back togather. It has sat in a old sock in his closet ever since! My dad was going to do some engraving on but has never gotten around to it.
I amhoping to get it and make it into my varmit gun. I dont know much about I know that it has the interchangable barrels. Not sure what model hopefully I can get some pics tommrrow.

We love resurrecting old Dan's. Bring on the questions, we have answers (some of them are even GOOD answers)
BTW- That's not just an old Dan Wesson you have, it's the "seedling" of a Pistol Pack, and then it really gets out of control
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

My plan is to add a scope mount (any suggestions?) and a scope and a pachmeyer grip….I was thinking of putting a .22 cal barrel and cylinder in it but not sure now..

I think you may run into a snag regarding the firing pin...the whole rimfire/centerfire thing. However, I'm mostly speculating because I haven't had the pleasure yet to compare the two types side by side. It might just be a simple thing like changing the firing pin.
That's a good looking Model 15-2, for the money!

Easiest choice for scope mount is the B Square mount like this
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=142827051
It clamps on, holds very securely, but adds a fair amount of weight/bulk, and pushes the scope fairly high above the bore axis. You can also drill and tap the shroud for rings
