Dug this thread up because we just picked up a SR9c with 4 mags and all paperwork and case. $350 and not broke in yet. The owner wanted concealed carry and found the firearm a little to big for his taste. He went and bought a LCR in 38 special.
Nice firearm been feeding it wwb 115gr, cci blazer 124's and speer gold dot hp 124gr+p. No hiccups.
Accuracy?
Watch this guy, he's one of the reasons I decided on the Ruger. I've watched a lot of his videos but in this one he didn't leave much standing. Something I haven't really seen him do before. By the way he's using his reloads.
The wife likes the way it feels and shoots. So do I, fully loaded it balances perfectly any way you hold it.

Yep the SR9c has turned out to be a great choice, it really is a nice shooting pistol. I hadn't seen the Hickock video before, he really wrings out the potential of the Ruger! He is always entertaining and informative to watch.

How does she like the new little pistol?
She's all for it. More bang for the buck than a .380. She says it's easy to hang on to, feels good in the hand, balance and weight wise . She likes the safeties and so do I. She can rack the slide and load the mag using the supplied tool. Recoil is no problem for her using factory loads.
I am reloading for it and some of the first loads were too soft for the gun. Clearing the resulting jams is easy for her.
I just put on a Crimson trace cmr 206 green laser for some training and SD.
All in all she's happy with it.
Me too.
