Freedom is not Free.

A veteran is someone who, at one point, wrote a blank check made payable to ‘The United States of America’ for an amount of ‘up to and including their life.’
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country
who no longer understand it.

Lt. Col. George Goodson, USMC, Ret

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

Just completed the Mortuary Affairs recovery. All Heros are on their way home.  Please pray not only for their Families, but all the Soldiers involved in recovery as well..   Still some very bad dudes here.

As requested! Thank you for all you do and have done!  To all the Soldiers in hostile areas may they have protection and security from the bad people!

To those that Recover our down Soldiers may they know that they are in our prayers each day!

Not intending to take away from the women and men who Serve on the front lines, but a reminder that all who Serve are deserving of our respect. From the submariner, to the guy who fuels the planes, to the recruiter, the DI, the mess cook, the storekeeper, and on and on.

They all serve our America.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I've been traveling this weekend only to come home to find out about this tragic event.  The families and friends of those lost along with all of those serving our country are in my thoughts and prayers.

It appears that one of the dead SEAL's was a close high school friend of my niece

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Prayers being said.  May God bless and comfort all and their families who serve our country, especially those far from home, in dangerous situations and especially those who make the ultimate sacrifice for us.

My heart sank when I heard this news, the other day. With the sheer volume of daily/nightly missions that these teams do, it sometimes seems to be a small miracle that there aren't often more casualties.

My condolences, gratitude & utmost respect go to the families of those who were lost, and to all those who continue to carry on the fight.proud-to-be-an-american
