Had time this morning for a quick range trip with my new love, my 732-20. Experimenting with loads, I think I found some potential with Hornady XTPs, have to load some more. Had several different cast loads but could not get a tight group with them yet. 'Course keep in mind I don't possess sharpshooter abilities. I like this round it is a lot of fun.
The club I belong to has a rule about picking up your own brass which is largely ignored. Since I bought a reloader I started policing brass when I have time. I dont reload autos yet but I plan to, so am saving up. A typical haul- .45s, .40s, & 9mm, I pick up all nickel plated 'cause I like shiny things, so I get odd .380s once in a while. I keep them all. They look dirtier in the pic than they are, but they are what I call 'freshly flung'.
A month or so ago I came home from the range and after washing my haul of brass I found I got a single .38 Super. I don't have a pistol in .38 Super, but I took this empty as a sign for the future

That grouping looks great! I always like to find 'free-range' brass, I think its good for you. I pick up all brass even if I don't own that caliber, it makes for trading fodder in the future.
I see a 38 super in both our futures after our recent experiences shooting one.

Greetings
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy ! That is the caliber 32-20 in a DW.
Last time up north there I came across a 32-20 cylinde. Had a spare 15-2 frame and that became my caliber 32-20. Yes you have to get a custom barrel made but then you can name your own groove. I went with caliber.308 and happy I did so.
Have only shot Castboolits in mine so I dought if I will ever see any barrel wear. Been shooting 32-20 in a 1873 for years and always wanted a DW to haul along. In rescent years started shooting a Savage 23 in caliber 32-20. Those are fine shooting light rifles.
Great little caliber for popping wabbits on up to groundhogs and any close coydog.
