I've only had my DW a few weeks and have been to the range once. Can't wait to get back and throw some lead downrange. I picked up a box of 38 special plus P shells (last box on the shelf) and now I'm wondering if I can use these in my 357? I did some searching on this site and didn't see any ammo specs for the DW. How much hotter are the plus P than the standard 38 special? I hate it when the shelves are bare at the local shop. I also hate to over pay at the range. Ammo prices seem to be climbing as quick as gas prices.
Thanks,
Al

Between the election and the Doomsday preppers there is a shortage
on common ammo calibers again. Things are going to be screwed up
for the next year , small shops are reporting backorders 3- 6 months.
Some of the larger Super sport stores have some good stock.
My Wally world has had bare spots for a month now.
If you see it , get it.

Wal Mart was where I got the last box they had. The guy in front of me was looking for nines and went home with none. Their hand gun selection was pityful. I may have to call a buddy who used to re load and see what he has left. Pictures to follow if I can get them to post. I can shoot the pimple off a nats ptuty but can't seem to download a darn picture. What's that tell ya.....

Welcome!!!
and because someone else once asked... yep you can shoot .38++p as well. I have been reloading only a short time. Savings canbe had... but generally I end up just shooting MORE!
I am sitting on 2000 loaded .38s and about 1000 loaded .357s with another 2000 .357 waiting on me to get the right powder.
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.
