Well, I should be able to learn a lot more about these. This came home with me today:
A friend of mine belongs to an outdoor range so when the weather gets better I hope to be able to take it out to try it. That is my DW .22 in the first pic. Included is a pic with the "Not for Sale" sticker it had on it.
I'm stoked!!!

Yes indeed Rimfire.
Before I am asked, I'm sorry, I'm not going to say what I paid for it.
I'm still trying to get more information on it. I'd like to know how many were made, if anyone might know? Mine has two stamps on the bottom. I'd like to know what (if anything) the stamps would represent?
I saw it, I wanted it. I may have gotten a bargain, I may have paid too much. As of now though, it is mine. I am not trying to sound rude, crude or ignorant so please don't take it that way.

I purchased the rest as part of a package deal. That was the only way I could buy it. I am trying to sell a part of the package that I do not think I will ever use. Once sold I will know what I paid for the rest.
I may be wrong but I would guess that there are a lot of DW owners/fans who, like me, didn't know these rests existed. With the lack of information I have been able to find on them so far the rest seems to be a bit obscure.
As food for thought (and I'm not looking for a specific number or response here) consider:
If you owned it and decided to sell it how much would you ask for it?
Or put another way:
If you had the opportunity to buy one how much would you be willing to spend?
As to value, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
I am still trying to find more information on them. There doesn't seem to be that much out there. I am trying to get info on another forum but, after about 5 days so far, I have not had one response. I am also still trying various ways to search the 'net. No luck there either. I also check eBay looking for an old brochure to crop up. None there as of today.

I'm thinking if one came up on eBay it would be in the 350-500 range
I did say I wasn't looking for a response to my food for thought but as long as you mentioned this...
Which previous auctions? The one willy put in post number 7 was from March 18, 2012. 5 years ago that sold for a price of 330ish. Has there been one listed since?
I think if I were going to sell it I'd try GunBroker or another firearm auction sight. A better chance to reach a more specific "target" (sorry, I couldn't resist) audience. I think that there are a few DW collectors on those sites who, if they would really want it, would be willing to pay for it.
I don't think eBay would be the best place to sell it.
Then again, maybe I'm wrong.
I personally think it is higher than you've put it but it's not really important.

eBay would bring a much larger audience, if you look at the number of Dan Wesson items listed it's much larger than Gunbroker, very few barrels, cases and grips on GB
I haven't seen a rest posted in years, which is how rare they are, prior to the eBay link posted here there were some others in previous years that sold in that price range, Willy made the statement if one came up for sale now it may go for twice that, and I think he may be right.
I'm sure most of you didn't even know these existed until this thread was started.
