From all that I have read and from my own experience with a ported .357 I understand that porting reduces muzzle flip thereby making target acquisition quicker. But, if you are a hole puncher with an affinity for slow fire bullseye shooting with wadcutters does porting have anything at all to do with accuracy? The projectile has already left the barrel before the gas gets to the end, right?
