From all that I have read and from my own experience with a ported .357 I understand that porting reduces muzzle flip thereby making target acquisition quicker.  But, if you are a hole puncher with an affinity for slow fire bullseye shooting with wadcutters  does porting have anything at all to do with accuracy?  The projectile has already left the barrel before the gas gets to the end, right?

Porting does reduce muzzle lift and some porting methods are better than others.  If there's no reason in your sport to reduce muzzle rise, then there is no reason to port.

Porting definitely reduces muzzle flip based on my experience with EWK’s muzzle brakes. If you’re a bullseye shooter it probably doesn’t really make a difference?
