I was always a revolver guy until a couple of years ago. Not that I got bored of revolvers, I just needed something different. I have always felt revolvers shot more accurate or should I say were easier to shoot more accurate than a pistol. No I did not sell all my revolvers and start buying pistols, but I did start adding pistols into the mix. My mind set was fire power vs knock down power because I have always hunted with handguns. I have been researching the 10mm pistols lately and I think a 10mm has both of those mind sets covered. Plenty of fire power and pretty darn good knock down power. Loaded right it is just under a 357 mag from what I have seen and with 14 rounds available plenty of horse power to boot. If your budget only allows for a couple of guns it would be worth looking into. You need to be careful when reading and watching all the 10mm vs whatever. Most of the comparisons do not use equal bullet weights, bullet shapes, or barrel lengths when they do their reporting. But if you realize that and consider those things with everything you read you should have enough info to decide if a 10mm would be right for you.

The only thing that has stopped me in buying a 10 mm in the 1911 platform is so far I have not found and ammunition that is a true round nose for feeding for break in, there of plenty of SD out there that appears they would feed pretty well.
I guess that the flat nose would feed correctly ,but..................
Is there a FMJRN out there to be had ?

I shot my EAA Witness Stock 3 today for the first time. I bought two boxes of Sig 180 gr FMJ round nose so I would have some brass to reload. I shoot flat nose in my 40SW without issues, and in my 45. I do not think you will have problems. Maybe it is just the gun, but 10mm in this EAA kicks less than my 45 1911.
