Hello to all the forum! I am realy frustrated cause I happen to live in Greece and have a Dan Wesson! I explain myself. For a long time I've been searching through ebay for hogue rubber grips, all the sellers wont ship overseas, and finally when finally found one that would do it for 20 bucks (damn!) and asked a friend who has an ebay account to order it he got a notification that it forbidden because of legislation. Its just a rubber grip, I don't or won't believe that greek postal service wouldn't let a rubber grip through, its not a barrel or basic part, it was listed among the holsters, magazines etc. If you have any way you can help or a store that I can contact please let me know! Thanks!

Ole Dog I thought about LB but I'm pretty sure he also does not ship overseas plus if he did or does the overall cost would be kind of steep. I have considerd many times carving one fingured (I have the stock zebra) but the tang carving is what I find most difficult. I didn't know that LB can send a blank but still not so sure about the final product if I do it! Also I really wanted a hogue rubber one as, in the photos at least,it looks quite good.

Good Jody, I hope it works! I can understand the problem shipping a complete firearm to Greece, or possibly major function parts, but for bureaucrats to deny something as simple as a grip to a person who already legally owns a firearm is just stupid IMO.
Albert, show us some when your new grip arrives!

Thanks for the intrest guys. Jody and ar-tex were kind enough to offer me a grip! Will wait and see if Jody's one makes it! I believe that the problem arises directly from ebay and not the actual greek legislation. Probably they had some issues in the past concerning customs and gun parts shipped to Greece and decided not to bother if the gun part is a barrel or a screw, just ban everything. Additionally if they could send the grip (the seller listed Greece as shipping country) the total cost was to be about 50 dollars! Its better to make a donation to DWF! Thanks Jody!
