A Giant has fallen. A foreshadow, an omen of things to come in this great land of ours.

Well, you know, years ago they used to say the way Detroit goes is the way the country goes....

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

Heartbreaking, but not surprising.

Last summer I had my most recent tour of Detroit on the way to Comerica Park for a Tigers game with my BIL. Frankly, Comerica Park/Tiger Stadium is the crown jewel residing in a steaming pile of ...

The problem is not Detroit or SE Michigan, the problem is the Socialist, criminal element that takes over in crisis times and tries to fix problems with welfare, deficet spending, and entitlements.

Sorry to be so harsh, this one is emotional for me, it's part of my "growin' up years"

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Same here.

I left Deeeetroit In 1980.

It was no place to raise my kids. I didn't want them to go through what I had to put up with.

I went on a manure tour back in the old neighborhoods a couple of years ago.

I had my wife, daughter and baby grandson in the Scion. It didn't take long to see it was like a war zone in what used to be middle class sections. I'm telling ya it looked like all hell broke out.

Then I got this notion. What the **** am I doing down here with the kids and wife.
Even the cops in their patrol cars looked out of place.

It's bad and I'm telling ya again, it looks like all hell broke out....It's really bad.
