Hey all. I did a search and didn't see a thread quite like this so I thought I would post a few pics comparing some different brand snubbies to the Big Dan. I was playing with the camera one day and got the idea to do this. Hope it helps someone else, as after a while I became quite frustrated looking for the right size holsters for my Dans and couldn't figure out why the model 10 holsters everyone kept telling me I needed would not fit! mad  Now I know. lol2

And just for fun, all the snubby siblings plus a cousin. The model 10 is not mine.

Can someone post a pic comparing the Lil'Dan to a J-frame? I'm very curious about that.

Honestly, I don't have many side-by-side snubby shots so far. Maybe I should work on that, because snubbies are cool, no question.wink

Here's my a couple shots of my 15-2 (with a boot grip) & Lil' Dan...

Charger fan, where did you get that grip for your DW? That's the only complaint I ever had about the DW snub was finding a suitable small grip for it. I have the old factory "Undercover". But it just does not " Trip my trigger". And after markets are about as long as the revolver itself.

Dantanna, maybe you want to check out the Shootist grip by LB, I have one on my snub 14-2 and like it very much.

boss, that model 36 IS a J frame.

cool-pics

Yes I know that, but there is no Lil'Dan in my pics for a comparison.

Judging from Charger Fan's photos, Lil'Dan isn't so little is he? I was hoping for a bit smaller frame to justify my shopping for one next year, but looking at it now I think my SP101 fills the same slot. Might as well look for a model 14/714 and not give up the sixth shot.

Actually, holding a Lil' Dan & 15-2 in each hand, there is definitely a noticeable difference, especially in weight. I have yet to compare Lil' Dan to a SP101, but you're probably right in assuming that they're both pretty close.

Dantanna, I got those boot grips from another member here a while back. I'm not sure who made them.
