I finally got my Router Recreator setup and I think it is going to work fine once I get a proper jig made. I tried to make one out of wood but just had to much give to it. I also still need to get a drill press which hopefully will happen over the next couple of days!
I did not realize how hard Zebrawood is. I quickly realized I should have tried to remove more stock before going out at with the router!
Now I'm in need of our jig to hold both the grip that is being duplicated and the stock being carved. Do we have anyone here with metal working skills that can do this? I know exactly what I need if someone can do it. Obvously I would be glad to pay!

I have been working on one of those myself, it kind of works like a key duplicator using a vertical mill for cutting and drilling. If it works out right I should be able to duplicate a grip in about 10 min, mostly time spent will be moveing jig for next cut, cutting should just take seconds. Working on this on my lunch hour at work, would supply pics but DoD wont allow cameras. If it works out I ll make a blueprint
