To all moderators, participants, regulators/managers of the Dan Wesson Forum,
As the current high bidder, having reached the reserve on the Rowland revolver, I think it is imperative to answer some respectful, general questions about the auction process.
1. How does the auction end? Is it an eBay type where last bid, best bid is the winner, or a gunbroker platform where a incremental bid extends the auction another 15 minutes?
2. If it is being run via the gunbroker system type, is there a specific bid increment that extends the auction?
3. Who and how are the parties notified to complete the transaction after the auction concludes.
4. What are the shipping charges related to getting the firearm to my ffl?
Guys, transparency matters. The value of the firearm is going to be directly related to the bidding audience, and right now it seems as though everyone is in the dark. I will play any game if I know the rules. It is imperative to the entire forum that everyone know the rules and be prepared to abide by them.
With all due respect,

I'm working on getting the auction terms clarified.
I think the winner and seller will need to PM one another after auction conclusion to arrange FFL info, payment details and shipping charges. The forum will not be handling the firearm. The forum is only serving as a venue for the sale of some unique Dan's.

Perhaps the best course of action for now would be to allow the current process to run it's course. Some actual experience with these auctions will help us understand how this might look as an ongoing activity.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

There is no current process that allows bidders to make a logical financial decision. Parameters MUST BE DEFINED.
Please address these questions to either Jody or the Seller via Personal Message. No information on this process is available to or from anyone other than those two individuals.I
Open posting of any additional discussion serves no useful purpose.
