I'm not sure you will ever get a specific number on AGS guns, however since yours is a CZ/DW gun, you might get more information directly from Dan Wesson in Norwich, NY:
"Dan Wesson Firearms in Norwich, NY provide parts and service for all Dan Wesson Revolvers (Pork-Chops excluded). For parts contact Genny or Priscilla at 607.336.1174 ext 21 and for service or repairs contact Keith 607.336.1174 ext 24. Genny’s email address is genny@cz-usa.com and Keith’s email address is keith@cz-usa.com." (from DWF Archives).
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

For what it's worth, they quote the number produce to be 500 here.

I am not positive but I believe the 500 refers to Palmer AGSs. Working off the phone and cannot check for certain until I get home. The Norwich AGS typically sells in the $1300 range. I would take a photo of the First Issue crest to show the BA is original to the gun, based off the serial number.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Judging from the fairly high 6002 s/n, I would imagine this one is past the First Issue range. Looking at the pics, I am convinced that the BA is more than likely original to the gun.

We have two separate Topics running on the same discussion, same issue, same gun.
Let's close this one out at this point in time, and continue any discussion at:
