I spotted an auction on eGouge a few days ago, for a cool DW duffle bag. I don't know about you guys, but I haven't seen one of these before & thought it would make a fine addition to this DW aficionado's stash. Laugh It was listed out of the way, in the "travel luggage" section & so far didn't have much bidding interest...I bookmarked that baby.Wink

Well, the auction ended last night, with a feeding frenzy the last few minutes. I was only going to pay $56 for an otherwise average looking bag, but another bidder took the win at $82.89!Surprised

Here is what he got...

Cool find Charger.

As you said, it would be neat for us enthusiasts, but it seemed pretty pricey for an otherwise generic looking bag with the logo.

I can't say i've seen one of these bags either.

Nice find Charger!  I've never seen one of those baby's.

Someone REALLY wanted that bag though, eh?  ...the good news is: they probably made more than one and the next one will have your name on it!

That was the first duffle bag I had ever seen. I was curious what it would go for. Thanks for update. I picked up a gun rug for 8" with the same looking logo on it months ago . I recall $15 , but won't swear to it.

This came up on a "Dan Wesson", I didn't even get in, I knew it would get silly. I am still sweating out bids on grips, if any of you guys are on Ebay Zebra grips right now, let me know, I'm not going to fight it out with a DWF buddy

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve, I'm not bidding on any grips right now, so there's one member down.Wink

In a way guys, I'm glad I got outbid on that bag. While there's no denying that it's a neat piece of DW trivia, I would have been kicking myself for paying anything over $50 for it. Oh well, at least I have a pic.Laugh

Steve, Although I still look to ammuse myself , I do not buy from eGouge anymore. My dial-up line takes me out of contention of the feeding frenzies.

I spotted that duffel bag on eBay as well.  I sure wouldn't drop $80+ for it.  I think we're going to have to come up with some DWF merchandise!  We just need to find the perfect logo!

Steve bid away I'm watching a none DW item on eBay at the moment.  Let us know if you get it.

I see there's another not before seen (by me) item on right now. I don't expect this to stay at a reasonable price by the end, either.Confused

Steve -- Just to show you how nunreasonable prices can get on eBay, I was bidding on a zebra wood grip for my 722 yesterday and was out-bid by someone who was willing to pay more than the price charged by DW.  I still want one but I think I'll just call Norwich.  Good luck on your bidding. As I recall, you're looking for one for a large frame and unfortunately those go for $150 right now.
