So I just picked up 4 boxes of Dan Wesson labeled .357 Max ammo. 170 gr. JHC, 20 rd. boxes, loaded by New York International Corp. Anyone know the history? When was it loaded? Commissioned by Dan Wesson? Etc., etc.?  Coogs.

That is a new one to me.  Never heard of it.  Maybe a photo of the box or label may jog someone's memory?

A man cannot have too many SuperMags

Didn't someone just post recently about some D&W ammo they had/have?  Can't remember enough what the topic was to search but if I remember correctly they had some pics.

NYI was the name of Bob Serva's company that bought Wesson Firearms and moved it to Norwalk,  NY. They then branded their own ammo. 357 Supermag,  445 supermag, 360 Dan Wesson and I think 414 supermag. Seems to be a collectable of its own. Some just sold for over $3 a round on Gunbroker. I recently found 4 boxes at my LGS for 29.95 a box for 445. It had been under the counter for over 6 years. They gave me a doornob tool because they couldn't find a comparable sale.  It is better to be lucky than good.

This used to be manufactured by Bullseye Shooting Supplies. When reloading components became scarce a few years ago, they stopped production. They offered ammo in 357, 414, and 445 Supermag, as well as 32-20.

Didn't have time to take a pic. The ammo I have is labeled .357 Maximum, not Supermag. Work on the pic's tonight, Coogs.
