Well a few weeks back I decided I wanted a 6 inch compensated barrel for my 7445 and as I couldnt find one I figured I would just get one from Dan Wesson. I emailed Dan Wesson Parts and was answered by Shelly Weston who btw is a great person to work with prompt replies answered all my questions and just generally a great help. So I told her what I wanted and she gave me a price and told me it would be around 4-6 weeks to process my orders so I was figuring around the end of April before I would see my new barrel assembly. I emailed her yesterday to see if my check had arrived and she told me that it had indeed arrived and my barrel assembly had shipped on the 28th, that is 2 weeks my friends talk about good people to work with and prompt service. I will post pictures of the finished product when I get it put together.big-grin

Looking forward to the pics, I commissioned a Supermag barrel shroud last year, and the quality of machining and finishing is top notch.

The general consensus is that when you work directly with the people AT Dan Wesson, you can get pretty good results.

When you try to go thru CZ to get anything DW, you would be better served by smashing your thumb with a ball peen hammer, it's less painful.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve, not to steal a thread, but your comment brings to mind Windows 8 again yell.   Seriously though, The folks at DW are terrific to deal with, let's keep supporting them.

I agree, the folks in Norwich are top notch across the board. The smart people just deal directly with them, and everyone comes away happy

That is a before and after. Accuracy is amazing 1holes (in sandrock) with the trijicon and 2-3inch with open sights at 85yards. Dead on out to 185, 1.5feet low at 200. 300gr cast performance gas check over 33.5 grs 1680

Countryboy:

Here it is with the other shroud.  Still a great looking gun, IMHO.

Dans are just good looking handcannons no matter what but i think the slots really make them shine, but as a $140 add on not worth it unfortunately.

I can't disagree with that! The slots make these guns stand apart from every other manufacturer out there, and make them instantly recognizable as a DW.drool

Have to agree with that. No other revolver looks as good as a slotted Dan Wesson. Slots are King! Especially 8 of them. big-grin
