Were all the DW 15-2 VH8 357 Mag guns made at one location, and if so, what city and state was that?
Anyone know?
I haven't gotten around to getting into the safe and it would save me a lot of time, considering how much I have to do anyway in the days, weeks and months.

Hi Marilyn,
They were made in three locations:
First in Monson, Mass.
Second in Palmer, Mass.
Last in Norwich, NY

Dean got his in Sept. 2009, so I'll guess I'll have to check the safe and see where it was produced.
I'm surprised that Dean didn't take a closeup pic on this one that showed the City and State of the gun like he always did when taking pics.

Does the year of 79 give an idea of where it was produced at?
Since the first poster on that thread mentioned it was produced in Monson, Mass. and said:

Perhaps Dean's 15-2 is a Monson, Mass. also.
I'm still going to look and check the gun in safe someday.

I did a google search for Dean's DW 1979 15-2 gun and came up with this on Wikipedia regarding Dan Wesson Firearms:
1968–1978 Dan Wesson Arms Inc. Monson, Massachusetts
1978–1991 Dan Wesson Arms Inc. Monson, Massachusetts
1991–1995 Wesson Firearms Co. Palmer, Massachusetts
1996–2005 Wesson Firearms Norwich, New York
2005–present Wesson Firearms Norwich, New York CZ-USA
From reading this, I feel that I can say for sure that Dean's gun was produced in Monson, Mass. without having to dig the gun out of the safe.
All his guns [bought 12/86 - 5/12] are Monson guns with the exception of...
The rare 7414-V8S, serial # ETGSM00049, bought 2/95, Palmer, Mass.
The 741-V10S SRS-1 First Issue, serial # E00082, bought 8/20/05, Norwich, NY [development gun for the SRS series] bought from Mike Rowles Mr. "DW"
The 41 Hunter, serial # 41B000576, bought 5/10, Palmer, Mass.
The Pointman Seven [PM7] 10mm auto pistol, serial # S7332CZ, bought 5/12, Norwich, NY [Dean wrote Match Grade Barrel]
