I heard from a knowledgeable source that the Norwich plant will be relocating and not back into production until March. Not sure if they will stay in New York state, but I'd get the heck out while the getting is good. I recommended the Lehigh Valley here in PA. We love Dans in PA!

Do you think the fire damage was so bad that they need a new building? Or perhaps the time had already come that they needed larger or updated facilities anyway?
Regardless I second inviting CZ to relocate the Dan Wesson Firearms facility to PA!

From some other forums I read, they are moving to a new building, I think larger, but still in NY at last report. I agree, get out of NY and come to PA!

I think they should move closer to the parent corporation in Kansas City.

I would think NY isn't very gun friendly and now would be a good time to move... but I guess if your trained staff is there it might make the move more difficult.

We are still recovering from the fire that closed the Dan Wesson Firearms plant in Norwich, NY last November. We have secured a new building and have targeted a date this spring to resume production. The new production facility is also located in Norwich. Currently we are in the process of building out the offices and other infrastructure. During this transition period all e-mails and phone calls are being routed to CZ-USA in Kansas City. Thanks for your support and patience as we get back up and running.
At least they are not moving out of the US!

I'm glad to hear they will be back in the game soon, it's too bad they have been down this long.

Realistically, they could never relocate away from their skilled employee base, and they could not easily relocate their workforce.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
