We appear to be fully back online. I know this has been frustrating for our Members, I can only tell you it has been much more than frustrating for our Staff. We were at the point late yesterday and through mid morning today that Range Officers, Moderators, and Admins could not get on DWF either.
It looks like we have been restored to a backup several days old, which keeps us mostly intact, and the patience of our Members, Site Supporters, and Staff is greatly appreciated.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I didn't think of a server failure just thought I screwed up someone with my loose nut in font of the keyboard. Hang in there and thanks for the good work, Steve and all the guys.

I can say that our issue was with with the hosting for the site, a "cascade" effect with issues on their side that (based on the wait time for Customer Support) was not happening just with DWF.
Thanks again for your patience with this, our Staff Members were able to communicate via personal email and text to help us understand the progression and scope of the outage. We will be examining the causes of the Forum outage and and working to assure a more stable DWF and more effective communication in the future.

Gee, once again I thought you guys had me singled out
That was last month.
Truth be told, we were all hanging out at Steve's house, watching his "wax on...wax off" technique on the hood of that blue Chebby SS in his driveway before he tucked it away for winter. I was supposed to keep an eye on the forum bandwidth limitations, so the site wouldn't crash...I swear I only left my post 3 short times for beverage refills...
It's probably my fault that I let some stinkin' hacker in.Give it to me...
