This is posted in the description for the 15-2 12" BA on ebite:
"Barrel and shroud were paired by me in the 70's when i worked for DW as a final inspector/test shooter. Im sure that dont mean it will fire as true on EVERY DW out there but there was time put into picking these 2 to fit with each other and my frame.."

Well, Springfield MA would be the right area, and there were lots of specialty and one off items produced in those days.
Custom S/N's, one of a kind finishes, 6-7 barrel Packs, engraving, etc.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I saw that one too and wondered who that guy could be. I wanted to post what you did but didn't have power until tonight and was having problems logging on with my Droid. BTW Ron, thanks for reposting my difficulties in the Forum problems thread.

I asked several quetions one being if he was a member here! (he didn't say) other being paired how?, "paired to me meant I could go thru 100's of barrels to compliment the shroud and hold a tight tight pattern"
He needs to gather that pile up and ship them over here!
