A quick question to all shooters who have used electronic ear plugs. I am not talking electronic ear muffs, just ear plugs/buds. I am looking to purchase the rechargeable model rather than replace batteries all of the time. Please tell me your opinion on any make and/or model you have experience with. Thank you

My wife and I both have the Walker's Razor X. We bought them to replace the electronic ear muffs mainly for use when shooting rifles because the ear muffs got in the way. They work great. Convenient and easy to use - so the ear muffs are rarely used anymore. We get at least 4 - 5 hours on a charge. Have not had them run out of charge on us yet. The cost will be around $100, depending on where you buy them. They have a model with Bluetooth if you want to connect to your phone or music, etc.. We did not want that function. We've had them 10 months and they are used at least once a week - still going strong.

Solid information, Snake...thanks for sharing. I always hated giving up the muffs for those little roll 'em up and stick 'em plugs at sporting clay shoots.

Thank you very much for the info. I just happen to look at the Walkers last night. You answered some of my concerns. Nice to hear they have been going strong for almost a year. I purchased what I thought to be a good brand of muffs. 6 months later I started to have issues. Thanks again.

Happy to help!

By the way, our electronic earmuffs are by Howard Leight and have been working great for about 4 years. Batteries last a long time and have auto cutoff to keep from running down. My wife doesn't like the pressure on her ears so she is really happy with the Walkers.

Good luck on your search.
