We took our new FO sights from Eric to the range with us last night.  We love them.  For our eyes, the green seem to be most visible indoors.  This weekend we'll get them outside, weather permitting, and see how they perform there.

Another great product from Eric.

Ive been considering getting one but I just dont know how they work, a quick google search didnt help matters. Can anyone explain how these work and maybe post a pic of them installed in your gunLaugh.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rod, here's a short video that may help you...

Basically, the fiber optic rods use
ambient light to make a bright glow "dot" that stands out against dark
backgrounds. They should work well in low-light situations, too.

Thanks Mike, it is indeed great to hear happy/positive feedback like that, thank you!!! And of course feedback that points out areas that can be improved is a good thing too! Laugh

AAAHHHH more stories on the FO sights..

SO I am wlaking around the gun show, toting a DW on each hip, including my beloved (the one with all the neat stuff, like LB winged grip and the newly acquired green FO on a 6VH. I am showing a guy and he remarks: " you need to be careful with those plastice FO sights going and out of the holster, they break all the time"

So I draw it out again and bring it up real close... "Its all metal"

"Oh?, well then you really got something there!"

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

I can't believe that someone would make those out of plastic.  These are real firearms, not toys.

On a parallel subject, namely standard sights, I tried to buy a bunch (10 each) of yellows and whites from DW.  They no longer have any, UGH!

So, I was just going to use Eric's FO sights on all my 8-inch barrels because those are the ones I shoot most.  But it looks like I will be mounting a lot more of Eric's FO sights than I originally planned.

That's not a bad thing for shooting, but it's not too cool for collecting.  I had one blow away its white insert a few weeks ago.  I couldn't find it so that one is trash.

Just thought you guys might like to know.
