Well what was suppose to be two weeks turned into two months.
Between super long work weeks and chores I haven't even had time
to look at a Dan much less work on one, but finally…. today.
This is the 44 that "Master Machinest and bluing Guru" Eric at EWK Arms
did for me a couple months ago. Here's the link on the original story.

All the little parts:
The frame and trigger guard that got reblued:
All together :
Oops ! Damn hammer put a nick when I was driving in the roll pin for the
firing pin bushing.
Oh well, you don't really see it…unless your the that did it I guess.

Well as anyone who has had a Barney Dan knows direct sunlight will
bring out any sign of plum. So lets see..
Looks good to me but only time will tell if Eric's secret formula will
cure the plum. Fingers are crossed !
Now for the real deal, she ain't worth jack if she don''t run so six
in SA and six in DA from 20 yrds off hand and she runs sweet !
Looks like taking the scope off didn't change POA much, atleast
short range anyway.
And yes for the accountants I missed one (damn I hate DA )
